Posted by Anonymous on 2015/01/29 under Uncategorized I am a teacher handing out assessment results to students and I am so scared of seeing students cry. But I can’t give good grades to all students because firstly that’s not right and secondly there is a rigorous review system to keep me on my toes and make sure the grades I give is based on a national standard. Gosh, I feel very stressed.
Its not On You. If they wanted good grades, they should study hard. Not because they want good grades, you GIVE them good grades. What kind of logic is that? If thats really the way whats the difference if their parents just walk up to you and pay you for the graduation certificate?
They cry because of their bad grades. You’re scared because you think its on you. Its not. You can try to teach them and give tips on which chapters are going to come out, but its not like you can force them to memorize or give the exam questions to them word for word. You can lead a cow to water, but you can’t make it drink.
